Shooting games are just that – all you have to do is to shoot and blows things up. But most of all, people love free games. There are many free games to be found online today. One of them is GunZ: The Duel or often called as GunZ. In this game, you play with three other players as a team to clear up maps full of creatures. At current version, you can play in three levels, Prison, Mansion and Dungeon.
You start at the lobby menu, to chat with people who are not playing, go to the equipment menu, shop at the weapon store and find a team to join. Just like many online games, you need to pay with real cash to buy premium weapons and armors. The next is, the waiting room where you can see details about a team, if you are ready to play, you can click the ‘Enter’ button.
The game controls are comparable to other shooters, for example, you use W-A-S-D keys to control the character, Space Bar to jump and Left Mouse button to shoot. However, these keys can be customized on the Option menu.
GunZ is renowned for its acrobatic maneuvers, for example you can run along or straight up a wall. Another unique thing about the game is, it combines fighting with shooting, you can flip with swords or lunge with a dagger toward an enemy; it is also possible to perform a paralyzing massive attack.
GunZ: The Duel may have outdated graphics but it still attracts a large number of players due to its unique appeal.
