EA Sports is a subsidiary of Electronics Arts, an interactive entertainment company that has released hundreds of sports-related titles to the gaming community and sports fans. Its games often receive favorable reviews from major gaming websites. These are major games series released by EA Sports:
- NBA Live, a basketball games series. Its latest installment, NBA Live 10, offers better gameplay and animation compared to the predecessors.
- NHL series, for ice hockey games. Other than simulating regular hockey matches, the series also features an attractive Free-4-All mini-game. Its latest release NHL 10 is available only on xBox 360 and PS 3.
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour series. It features Tiger Woods and other PGA Tour golfers and also available for iPhone OS. Its latest game ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2011′, for the first time simulates Ryder Cup tournament.
- Madden NFL, a football games series. Named after John Madden, the coach of Oakland Raiders. Madden NFL 10, the latest game in the series, offers many new features, such as injury system and Depth of Field.
- FIFA Soccer, a long-running soccer games series, first started in 1993. Its latest game, FIFA 10, received very favorable reviews from many sites and magazines.
- FIFA Manager, previously known as Total Club Manager (TCM), is a soccer management games series. It covers many aspects of handling a soccer team. Its latest installment, FIFA Manager 10, while still an excellent game, was plagued by stability issues. A patch has been released to fix them.
It should be noted that since 2009, EA Sports has withdrawn most of its supports for Windows systems due to some business concerns.
